THE BOYS TOWN CAFÉ IN THE VISITOR CENTER

The Boys Town Café is nestled on the edge of the “ Most Famous Village in the World.” Serving the staff and guests of Boys Town, the Café is located inside the Visitor Center.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

The Boys Town Café is open Monday thru Friday and weekends upon requests. Breakfast is served from 6:45 a.m.-9:45 a.m. Lunch is normally served 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Hours are often adjusted to accommodate special functions and group tours.

Closed:

New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and following Friday, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day.

The Boys Town Café serves a full breakfast line including eggs, bacon, sausage, and our famous hash browns made fresh. Plate-sized pancakes and french toast wrap up our grilled items. Biscuits and gravy are prepared Wednesdays and Fridays, and our omelets are a great way to start off your day. We grind our coffee fresh daily and have a nice selection of juices to choose from.

LUNCH MENU

The Boys Town Café has a large variety of lunch items that range from our 100% Nebraska Quarter Pound Beef burgers, sandwiches and garden greens to homemade soups and daily specials.

Our specialty sandwich items include Gyros, Reubens, Philly Steaks, Foot Longs and more. Our traditionals include Hot Beef Sandwiches, Meat Loaf, Spaghetti and Meat Balls, Country Fried Steaks, Taco Salads, Fried Chicken and more.

KIDS MENU

Don’t forget the kids. Our kid’s menus include burgers, grilled cheese, and chicken nuggets. Together with fries, a cookie and a toy, the kids can sit down to a place mat and crayons and enjoy their lunch.

CITIZENSHIP DAY

Every child who arrives at Boys Town and is accepted into our care is sworn in as a citizen of the Village of Boys Town. During this often-moving “Swearing in Ceremony” at the Boys Town Café, Father Steven Boes, Executive Director of Boys Town, asks the children what they hope to accomplish while being here. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn just what Boys Town is all about. These ceremonies are normally scheduled on Fridays. Please contact the Café Manager for exact times and scheduled dates.
