Boys Town Iowa Growing to Help More Families

More Iowa families are receiving the right help at the right time to keep their family together through Boys Town’s In-Home Family Services.

In-Home Services are carried out by Boys Town Family-Consultants, who provide support for the family and skills for both parents and children to improve family life. More than 280 families have already been served since January 2008 in Iowa and around 30 staff have been hired to help with the additional cases at Boys Town Iowa.

Nick Juliano, Boys Town Director of Business Development, says Boys Town Iowa may serve more than 400 families this year alone. “There is a tremendous need for In-Home Family Services in Iowa and we have grown rapidly to meet that need,” said Juliano. “This growth has allowed us to serve many families and to help prevent hundreds of children from being removed from their homes.”
